The Australian band will play one of the few concerts accompanied by an orchestra – they will perform with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra on the second day of the festival. From April 1st Regular Tickets are available.
King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard are considered among the most innovative rock bands of the 21st century. As part of their Phantom Island Tour, the musicians will play one of several unique European concerts with an orchestra in Gdańsk. The Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by world-class conductor Chad Kelly, will accompany them on stage.
During this concert, the Australian band will play selected songs from their extensive catalog, including previously unreleased compositions from their upcoming album Phantom Island. This event promises to be one of the most spectacular concerts of the year.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are known for their extraordinary creativity and exploration of different music genres – they have released 26 studio albums since 2012. Their music style includes psychedelic rock, garage rock, thrash metal, jazz, blues, and other experimental sounds. In 2025, they are back with Phantom Island, an album that features elaborate symphonic arrangements and introduces an even deeper dimension to their experimental sound. The band has already unveiled the title track ‘Phantom Island’, which has been well-received by fans and critics alike.
The Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra, known for its collaborations with many outstanding artists, is famous for combining classical and modern music, making it the ideal partner for this innovative project. Under the baton of Chad Kelly, an American conductor specializing in projects combining symphonic and pop music, the concert in Gdańsk will be a unique combination of rock energy and symphonic depth.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard join the previously announced artists: Franz Ferdinand, The Kills, Sigrid, Altın Gün, and DEAD LETTER. The third edition of Inside Seaside will take place on 8-9 November 2025.
Tickets have been available in the Regular Tickets pool since April and in the Final Call pool since 1 September. The Gdańsk Resident Card also provides cheaper tickets. More announcements are coming soon!
