Franz Ferdinand, Norwegian singer Sigrid, and Turkish-Dutch band Altın Gün are joining the Inside Seaside line-up. Winter Tickets are on sale at Eventim until the end of March!
After the first announcement of this year’s edition – The Kills and DEADLETTER – was a real hit, the Inside Seaside festival has now announced a legendary band – one of the best and most popular groups of the British rock wave that took the world by storm after 2000.
Franz Ferdinand has always stood out from their peers with their intelligent edge, style, artistic approach, love of great riffs, and catchy, original melodies. In 2004, they introduced the world to their single ‘Take Me Out’, whose distinctive intro can still be heard in concert halls and on dance floors. After that, ‘The Dark of the Matinée’ and ‘This Fire’ reigned at summer festivals, followed by ‘Do You Want To’, ‘Walk Away’ and ‘No You Girls’ in the years that followed.
Franz Ferdinand has become part of the island’s rock heritage over the years and continues its triumphant March. Their new, sixth studio album, ‘The Human Fear’, released earlier this year, has been well received by fans and critics alike. The band has recorded an album full of energy, passion, and life’s reflections—the best songs from this album, combined with their greatest hits in concert, will make for an unforgettable experience.
Sigrid is a Norwegian singer who continues the excellent traditions of unpretentious Scandinavian pop; recording hits such as ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’, ‘Burning Bridges’, and ‘Mirror’. They are listened to by young fans of popular music and those who appreciate more alternative sounds, as evidenced by the well-received song ‘Bad Life’ sung in a duet with the vocalist of the group Bring Me The Horizon.
Even though she has established herself on the global pop scene with 1.47 billion streams worldwide, over a million albums sold, and a platinum award for her pop anthem ‘Strangers’, Sigrid has established herself on the global pop scene, she always reminds fans that at the heart of each of her great pop songs is a girl in jeans and a simple T-shirt sitting at the piano in her hometown of Alesund. Her songs have been heard live on stages at festivals such as Glastonbury, Roskilde, Sziget, and the Isle of Wight. Now it’s time for Inside Seaside.
Sound seekers worldwide should also be happy to hear that Altın Gün will be playing on the ERGO Hestia Theatre Stage. The band combines psychedelic rock, cosmic disco, synth-pop, and funk with Anatolian and Turkish folk music traditions on its albums. Its debut album quickly gained popularity, and its second album was nominated for a Grammy in the ‘Best World Album’ category. Its hypnotic live performances are well worth the wait.
The third edition of Inside Seaside will take place on 8-9 November 2025, and Winter Tickets are available for purchase at Eventim until the end of March. Regular Tickets will be available from March, and Final Call tickets will be available from 1 September. More announcements are coming soon!
