Katowice-based Ciśnienie blends post-rock, orchestral music, jazz, and ambient, creating intense, trance-like compositions inspired by, amongst others, Swans, Fire! Orchestra, Górecki, and Arvo Pärt. The distinctive combination of saxophone, violin, keyboards, distorted bass, and frenetic drums creates a sound that balances between improvisation, psychedelia, and monumental walls of sound. The band has played over 100 concerts in Poland and across Europe, as well as performing at festivals such as ESNS Eurosonic, OFF Festival, Enjoy Jazz Festival, and Bear Stone Festival. All of the group’s releases are live recordings. Ciśnienie is currently promoting the album [angry noises], released in September 2025.
