Nils Frahm’s passion for music began as a child with piano lessons. By learning about the classics and then combining them with contemporary genres, the German composer and producer has developed his unique, highly emotional style, which includes, among other things, an excellent sense of control and moderation, the use of old instruments in songs and an extremely successful balancing act between genres.
By day, he lives and works in Berlin in his highly acclaimed studio, Funkhaus, and records mainly for the Erased Tapes label. Alongside his solo productions, you will find many unique collaborations – including with Ólafur Arnalds, D.J. Shadow, and Woodkid.
