Baxter Dury

9th of November

Baxter Dury is one of the most intriguing British artists of the last two decades. The son of the legendary Ian Dury (lead singer of The Blockheads), he has developed his own recognisable style since the beginning of his career. His music is a unique blend of lazy, sensual spoken word, cinematic melancholy and retro-electronics, in which irony and emotional honesty go hand in hand. On stage, Dury attracts with his charisma and theatrical ease, and his concerts balance between intimate performance and club trance.

In Gdańsk, he will present, among others, songs from his album ‘I Thought I Was Better Than You’ from two years ago, which was very well received by critics and listeners.
